Governors Grant residents enjoy many beautifully landscaped yards in the
neighborhood. To recognize and promote good gardening practices, the
new Governors Grant Native Gardeners group is starting a seasonal GG
Garden Awards recognition.
It’s up to neighbors to nominate a garden of the season you feel is
beautifully maintained and visually appealing. Take your time as you walk
or drive through our beautifully community to notice those properties who
make the extra effort to enhance their home with a beautiful, landscaped
lawn. Whether you know their name or not, simply use the link to
nominate the homeowner by name and/or simply by address.
Nominations Link will be sent to all residents via email and posted on the
Official GG Facebook page. Judges including past winners will enjoy
viewing all properties for consideration and select a nominated resident to
win a rotating Governors Grant Garden Award stone + a $50 gift
certificate to Wingard’s Market.
With homeowners permission, the winner will be released to all residents
through email blast & a Facebook post on the official Governors Grant
Homeowners Association page. The committee hopes to include a photo to
share along with address (if approved by homeowner).
